A delegation of the Srpska List, headed by its leader Goran Rakic and his deputies Dalibor jevtic and Igor Simic, met on Friday US Special Representative for the Western Balkans, Matthew Palmer, and US Ambassador to Kosovo, Philip Kosnett.
Srpska List in a press release said that during this meeting they discussed situation in Kosovo after 6 October elections focusing on resumption of Pristina-Belgrade dialogue aimed at easing tensions and preserving peace. Also Srpska List representatives asks the 100 percent tax on Serbian goods should be revoked immediately and resume the dialogue in order to find a compromise solution.
“As regards to our participation in the government, we will not enter in government under current conditions, because we do not need functions but we want to defend interests of Serb population,” it is stated in the press release.
US special envoy, Matthew Palmer, said the United States are interested in creation of the new government and resumption of the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade, as well as full respect of the rule of law, which enables economic development and improve of life for all citizens. /Kosovopress/
